My name is Alex Boles. I’m a 24 year-old college graduate who is still trying to figure out the “real” world. Currently, I’m living in a small town in Illinois with a 5-year plan and a lot of motivation and support. I’m far from perfect, but striving to be so will get you nowhere in life. Instead of focusing on who I’m not, this blog is focusing on who I am and what I’m facing today and tomorrow. If you’re so busy living in the past, wondering what you did wrong, guessing on what would happen if you could change it, you will never see today for what it really is: a blessing. Today is an opportunity, a gift, a vehicle for change and action.
So, this blog is about a “20-something female” and her journey with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, managing an anti-bullying campaign and seeing where she fits into the entertainment industry. I’ve written a post detailing each of those subjects on the main page, so if you would like to see why I love film/acting, what PCOS does to the female body or why I chose bullying to fight, go ahead and give those blogs a read. And tell me what you think and if you have ideas, recipes, stories you’d like to share. I’m a very open, outgoing person, so I’d LOVE to hear your story, too! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
